I should've written this before but I only remembered to do it now, oh well.

As you can see, my blog is available in English and Portuguese, neither of them is an "automatically translated" blog, I translate everything myself (that's why the blog's link is different depending on it's language, they're actually 2 blogs but form just 1) and I'd like to say this: They are NOT 100% equal to each other, one could think the only difference between them was the translation but no, certain things I will only write in a certain language (poems are an example, I can't translate a poem because that would ruin it), so yeah, I wanted to let you know that, I'm sorry if it's confusing or a bother but I've always had a part of me who'll write/think in English and another part who'll stick to my mother language (even if English might have been actually my true mother language due to certain circumstances in the past).

Long story short:

Both blogs will have entries that won't be found in the other one due to the fact that I don't think that the post looks good on another language or the content might not be relevant enough to be shown on the other side.

In case you don't understand a certain post's language and you want to, just drop me a note and I'll gladly translate it for you, also, some posts might not be shown on the other page due to simple forgetfulness.

Creepy japanese radio station

I was supposed to clean my room but I wasn't really feeling like it, it's past midnight so hearing music with no earphones was out of the question, I had to go for my small portable radio. The music was quite good (something hard these days) but I'm always changing stations so, out of the blue I started hearing japanese, someone was singing in japanese, not a "normal" song, a very odd one, it's weird enough that my radio catches a japanese station when I'm on the other side of the planet. The song had some creepy sound effects to it but they were nothing to be scared of, I quept hearing the song out of curiosity and... the sounds just kept getting worse. The women stopped singing and then the radio would only emit those weird monster like sounds, they got to a point that I had to change station, or to be more persice, shut the radio off and go writte about it on the internet, because I just got creeped out of my mind. What the hell was that? Japan, I do love you, but damn you can be so creepy. *shivers*

Anti-social

So today I went to put my brothers on their theatre class and while I waited for the professor I stood outside the room, I'm still very shy and bothered around people, especially that group from the class. So there I was, sitting and wainting and then this guy from the group pops out of the door, looks at me in the eye and says "Anti-social.", just like that, right into my face. My mind kinda froze and I went "What?" and he repeated "Anti-social. Shame on you." and he went back to the room.
..........Ahm... what? I gotta say, that guy has some guts, he barely knows me and he just comes out of nowhere and says such a thing right into my face. And I can't even feel angry or offended by him because all that goes trough my mind is: "What the hell was that?"

Fateful Encounters 1

About a few days ago I went to Lisbon for a walk, I was asked if I felt like going to the store nearby that had comic merchandising and I decided to go because I hadn't been there for a while, even thought I wasn't expecting them to have anything new or interesting. I was scanning the whole store when suddenly BAM!! Something just appeared in my life. For so long I had looked for it and now that I had given up it just appeared like that. It was love. I didn't have money with me so I decided to return to the store the next day right away, before someone could steal my precious love.
I returned home all excited and all, I was going to return to the store indeed but there was a twist, I would go alone, for the first time in my life. I thought there would be no problem, at all.
Morning came and... I didn't want to wake up, it hurt. Yes, it had been my fault for staying up late (like always) but it still hurt, I ended up sleeping some more. After a while I woke up startled and thought "If I keep lazing in here someone will just... STEAL MY TREASURE!!" I jumped from the bed and got ready.
There I went, back to the city where the store was located. I got out from the subway all confident and all and when I look around me I can only find one thought: "Ok... Now what?”

Yeah, I had arrived and had NO IDEA how was I supposed to get to the store from there, I didn't remember it being near the place where I was, when I was with the other person I would just follow and never paid attention, so now I was basically screwed. I didn't panic though, I would get into the store whatever it took.
I got myself into a lot of weird places, I found myself in a labyrinth, always returning to the beginning.
I took photos of some of the wrong places I went just for the lulz of it all.

The scariest places I forgot to take photo because I was too busy being scared. Ahah.

I was getting pretty tired so I had to make a phone call to get the basic location of the store. Now that I had the basis it would be easier. I still walked a lot, visited other places and then finally, FINNALY I saw what I was looking for.

The street where the store was, ironically they were playing music outside that sounded like a victory theme for my arrival, ahahah. I found it hilarious, ~~and sad~~.

Here's the place that I get to walk to reach the store, my heart started pumping.

There it was, my precious love, it looked at me and I looked at it. Damn, I couldn't take the sexiness.

Mission was completed. I returned home with a huge grin, probably freaked people out.

So yeah, that was my amazing adventure, ~~apart from me getting lost~~. I really liked it and hope to do more, and make sure I pay ATTENTION from now on. But truth be told, I decided to go alone because I already knew this would happen, I wanted to make sure I could teach myself a lesson or two.
Now... About my treasure... Do you wanna see it?

I had looked everywhere for this book without success, now I finally got it (just when I stopped searching).
CLAMP are amazing, their work is just mind blowing.
~~I spent the whole day watching every detail of all the Fuuma/Kamui goodness.~~
I'm too obsessed with X for my own good, that book could be in a battle field with wild ducks that I would still go after it.

A look into my Sticker's Album

This is just one of my 3 albums, but it's the best one so far, the others are still very empty and poor because recently I rearranged them (bad stickers went to trash and those I don't want but can be used, were put away in another place, in case someone might find them useful/nice), I focused on this album, that's why it's almost done, a lot of the stickers aren't new tho, because they are actually pretty good. Now that I'm back to my collection I bought new and good stickers, those that really fit my tastes, hope to find more in the future! Also,this album and it's twin recieved a new cover 8D lookin' good!
Problem is, I do use these stickers so... it's kinda hard to be always rearranging them... ><;;;;

IBERANIME LX 2010 - Cosplay

That's right!! This past Sunday, day 14, I had my first Cosplay!! :D
It was at the IBERANIME LX 2010 event, here in Portugal.
I cosplayed as the black version of the Vocaloid Sakine Meiko found in the video Koi no Fuga, together with my sister who cosplayed as her original version (the red one).

Takashi Ishida - The beginning of my Black list

This week I went, like always, to assist to two sessions of the event Nippon Koma on Culturgest. Of everything I already assisted there, nothing displeased me 100%, in fact, I´ve seen fantastic and unique works there. I decided to go to the animation session today and didn't bother about checking whose artist (or artists) did the work belong to. The 1º animation started and I couldn't believe what was I seeing, a movie camera, in an empty room with a screen showing the sea, suddenly everything gets mixed up with colors, blue as a principal, confunsing patterns everywhere, repetitive paintings that would appear and disappear, a movie with no sense, not interesting at all. I remained calm, because I though that only that animation would be like that, I checked the program to confirm this when, for my panic, the session was a collection of animations by the same artist! This artist was entitled Takashi Ishida. I kept watching his work and it went from bad to worse.
In another animation, the public had to keep watching a chair, and of course, in the middle of it, the magical paintins came, they would appear, disappear, stretch, shrink, then there were drafts over drafts, accompanied by classical music... Then, the public was attacked by a white screen that would move back and forward, forcing me to close my eyes because it hurt them, A LOT. Since I wanted to look to anything but the screen, I looked around to see the public: Some were snoring, others were giggling and making fun of the animation, others would sigh. Me? I was falling asleep in my chair. I left the auditorium 2 animations before the session was over, I couldn't take it anymore.
The work of Takashi Ishida was one of the worst things I ever saw in my WHOLE life, and his name will be written on my black list to make sure I won't EVER watch something of his again.
If what he does is "Art" then for me the world is doomed. I never had such a terrible evening, but I learned a lesson: I'll never go watch animations again without knowing who's the artist and what does he do.

Melissa Seraphy - An unreachable dream?

I've always collected PVC anime figures, but each one with it's time, without hurries or panic. Everything changed with Melissa Seraphy, the famous figure created by Good Smile Company. I don't know why, but this figure became very popular and recently impossible to obtain. When I saw it for the first time I thought I would be able to get it, but I was wrong, it was released on 2006 and had another release on 2008, but I was too late. I searched everywhere over the Internet, I tried to find some site that would sell it, I only had Amazon and Ebay as a choice, I don't use Ebay because it's too risky, as for Amazon.... It was a disappointment... I had finally ordered Melissa from Amazon and when they confirmed my order I thought I would finaly get the figure I wanted so much. I waited 1 day, 2 days... At the third day, Amazon sent me an e-mail telling me that their seller didn't had the figure anymore....... My attempt at getting this figure resumes to this, a journey with no results and maybe no more hope at all. I believe that I'll have it one day, but maybe in a very far away future. I only know that I've never wanted a figure so badly and I even dream with it, but if I can't get it I'll have to cool my head.

Painting - Flower necklace

The "My little pony" on this photo, came with a flower necklace, which was all green, with no details, just plain green. I didn't like it so I decided to paint it, I painted all the flowers in dark blue as a base color, bright blue as a secondary color and yellow on the center, giving detail and life to the necklace. I wanted to do a charm for my cellphone and another one for my Pen. For my cellphone I made the head of my teddy bear and for my Pen I did the black and white winged heart I'm always drawing everywhere. While I was doing the charms, another one came to my mind, that I've wanted to do for some time now, the planet Earth with a leaf. I don't know yet where to put it. Looks like I'm getting better at doing these things! Eheheh!

My Little Pony

When I was a child, my god-mother gave me her "My Little Pony" and I bought others as time went by. It turned out that I quit giving them attention, and this year I decided to change that. They're back, very well washed and arranged. If I'm not mistaken, all of them were either from the first generation or the second. I remembered that now there were Ponies from the third generation and that they had gotten better in several things. So this week, I went to the supermarket and there it was my re-enconter with these old toys. The new My Little Pony really got better in a lot of things, the visual is even more amazing, just like their designs on the body. I feel it's really childish of me, but the truth is, I never killed the child inside of me.

Painting on canvas - Unconsciousness

I don't usually paint in canvas, but I decided to try it out. I already made a sketch on this one, I hope it goes well! I drew the way I see my unconsciousness in person, the one that creates/shows my dreams and sees beyond what we think it's logical, moral or true. For the background I used a surreal and strange scenery.

Photos of the painting that I did on the top part of my desk. This is only one of the paintings it has. It's a work in progress.

It's where I have my manga/anime figures, so the painting is a park, to give the ideia that the figures are there. I had to put a glass base over the painting later because the figures material was always removing paint from the desk.
